The M Type is the most popular Brompton model and is the most suitable for general use. The distinctive U-shape of the M Type's handlebars has been used on the Brompton since the outset providing a more upright riding position with excellent control. The rear rack provides for some good cargo carrying capacity and a variety of bags can be mounted up front.

The M3RA employs the classic Sturmey-Archer hub, upgraded to an alloy shell, providing three well-spaced gears. A popular choice for everyday biking.
M6RA (6-speed, w/ R-type rear rack) 1650.00 CAD
Employing the SRAM 3-speed hub combined with a 2 sprocket derailleur system turns SRAM's efficient internal gears into six evenly-spaced and close-coupled ratios. With its very low transmission losses, this multi-gear system is the right choice for touring and for riding in hilly areas.
